Rotary Membership Month
August 20 - Thom Martin is arranging the speaker, Donald Doyle is the greeter. 
LPGA Longs Drugs Challenge/Wheelchair Fundraiser - Your $50 check to Danville Rotary for wheelchairs will be matched by Pacific Rim Recycling. Steve Moore of Pacific Rim will host a reception at his home near the 9th hole for donors, who will also be able to enter the tournament. Go to this link for full details.
Last Week August 13 - Alamo residents, Vicki Koc and Mike Gibson talked about California's incorporation process and answered questions about Alamo's plan for incorporation.
Board Meeting Moved to August 28 - Pres Lori requests a strong turnout. Barbara Jewell's office 5:00 pm.
Alamo (Rotary) Wine and Music Festival - Saturday September 8,
2 till 11pm. Dinner from Faz, Forli, and others. Fabulous Raffle Prizes.

Monterey trip January 2008 signups - Among other things, Rotarians will see the Red Cross Hospital Project and participate in a wheelchair distribution. Information available at this link. See Pres Lori to participate.
Twilight Zone Strikes Wheel of Fortune (or not) - First Dick Calhoun and then Jim Cambier are tasked by the Wheel to come back and give presentations. Both have vanished. VANISHED! Coincidence or mayhem? Do-do-do-do/do-do-do-do.Tune in next week, same place, same paragraph.

Map Painting Project- School is open. Christa Peterson is coordinating with 4 schools - a series of Friday or Saturday morning projects for late August/early September.
Golden Gate Fields Outing - Tentatively scheduled for December 1, the club needs 35 signups to go as a group. Sign up sheet will circulate at meetings. Past Pres Jeff coordinating.
Summer Social - Tentatively scheduled for late August or early September. Señor Reginaldo Ybarra is making the arrangements with Luna Loca. ¿Donde esta Señor Ybarra?
Soccer Jersey Drive - Bob Chace is exploring with teams in the Mustang Soccer League.
Gold Nugget Drawing - August 20 the gold nugget is worth $100 for guests and $150 for members.
