Announcements/Activities

Soccer Jersey Drive - Bob Chase would like to conduct a soccer jersey drive to donate jerseys to schools or villages in a 3rd world country. The Mustang Soccer League is requiring that all players buy new jerseys this year – that means that 3,000 kids will have ‘old’ jersey’s that could be donated to a worthy cause.

New Website – Vic G has set up a new and simplified program to update and maintain the Danville Rotary website.  See President Jeff or Vic G to get the new ID and password for access to the member list in the secure area of the website.

Presentation of Check for $10,000 to Cathy Chiverton toward the new construction of  the YMCA

June 30 - Demotion party at Mike Burton's home at 344 Merrillee Place in Danville at 5:30.  Traditionally, members and spouses bring the appetizers or desserts.  Please provide selections to Vic G.

July 2 –The Brass door is closed.  Unofficial Danville Rotary Meeting at Luna Loca in Danville.  Free lunch.

July 9 – Speaker Lynn Leach - Bring a guest!

July 17 – Danville Rotary Board Meetings – Incoming president Lori Sato will be holding future Danville Board meetings on the third Tuesday of the Month.  The first Board meeting will be help on July 17 at Barbara Jewell’s office at 279 Front Street, Danville.

July 23 - District Gov. Stan Smalley and Ass't Dist. Gov., Guy Greco will be at our club.

June 28-30 - Fellow Rotarians: If you are interested in working with young adults and would like to participate as a Rotary Camp Venture Counselor, please contact Laura Day directly at Danday94@aol.com

Gold Nugget Drawing - On June 25 the pot will be $50 for members and $50 for guests.
