Literacy Month
This week March 24 - Our speaker is Joan Buchanan , SRVUSD School Board, giving a “State of the Schools” address- brought to us by Gary Vilhauer. Greeter Reggie Ybarra.
Last week- Speaker Thom Martin waxed eloquent on the Mystery Topic.
LN-4 Trip to Colombia -That's Jim Yoder from Walnut Creek Sunrise sitting with Oscar Diaz, President of Tuluá Rotary and Rafael Palau, Tuluá Mayor. The team, including 5 Rotarians from Redding and Vic Georgiou, worked with volunteers at locations in Pereira and Tuluá to fit almost 90 hands.
Two weeks ago – Don Schmitt presented three strong contestants for the Four Way Speech contest. Bryana Nugent was chosen to go on to the South District Runoff on April 19 at San Ramon Valley Rotary.
Board meeting activities- $500 grant to Diablo Vista Middle School Walkathon, $100 grant to Clinton McAdams Eagle Project to install a bench in Oak Hill Park. Activity planned for Del Amigo High School.
Friday, April 4th -Interact is presenting a Cultural and Talent Night which includes performances, dinner, silent auction, and raffles. All the net profits will be going to Heifer International, the district project. San Ramon Valley High School will be collaborating with other schools in the area, California, Monte Vista, and Dougherty Valley, to host the event.

Saturday May 17 Multi-Club Fundraiser - Hold'em Poker Tournament. $100 buy in. Non-players $20 admission. Pleasant Hill 4 to 10. See Mike Burton.
Greater Danville Open June 2 - Reggie Ybarra reminds us that it is not too early to start gathering foursomes for the Valley's premier event.
